From the start your enquiry will be dealt with by leading entertainment agency Tailored Entertainment. Tailored Entertainment specialise in exclusive representation of the best professional function bands in the UK and have a very select roster of top live bands. BOOK THE BAND
Once you have decided that Chartz are the live band for your event, Tailored Entertainment will send a booking contract to you to confirm the booking. The contract features all the important details for the function and once you have signed, the band will sign a copy and confirm the booking in their diary. We ask for a deposit with the balance due within 7 days of event completion.
PLANNING
In the lead up to your event you are very welcome to contact us any time to discuss the plan for the evening. Around four weeks before the day the experienced team at Tailored Entertainment will contact you to go over the final details - timings, live set preferences, song requests for the disco or DJ, final payment details etc. All of the details will be recorded and sent to the band in one simple final confirmation email, so you can be sure nothing will get missed and everything discussed will happen as planned on the night.
ON THE NIGHT
info@chartz-band.co.uk will arrive fully self-contained with PA, lighting and pre-mixed disco (or a band member can DJ if you add this to your booking) and will perform 2 hours of live music (2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets). The band will cover your whole evening of entertainment so you don't need to hire a separate DJ or any additional equipment.
A guide to a corporate awards night/dinner would be:
- 17:00 - Band Arrive
- 18:30 - Background Music On For Guest Arrival & Welcome Drinks
- 19:30 - Dinner Served
- 21:00 - Speeches/Awards (we can supply mic if required)
- 21:30/22:00 - Live music and disco until close
Timings are flexible to suit your needs and live sets can be split 3 x 40 mins if you prefer. The standard price for Chartz is based on them arriving at 17:00 earliest and finishing as late as 00:00. For an early arrival or late finish outside of these times, there is an additional charge.
The band are very happy to perform a special request for you as long as they have at least three weeks’ notice of the song choice. For an additional fee they can also learn bespoke stings for awards presentations.
Chartz also offer a brilliant live lounge-style acoustic set, this is the perfect addition to your welcome drinks and can really help set the mood for a great evening. As the musicians are already booked to perform at the event, the price of this set represents excellent value when compared to hiring a separate band for your drinks reception entertainment - it can be as much as 50% cheaper than hiring an equivalent act.
